Suranne Jones
Sarah Anne Jones (also known as Suranne Jones) is an British actress and producer. Suranne Jones, an actor and producer from the UK. Her fame was gained through her role as Ruth Slater, the detective in a crime procedural called 'Scott & Bailey in the series 'Scott & Bailey', in addition to Gemma Foster, the GP in a medical thriller "Doctor Foster.' Jones is a Greater Manchester native who joined Oldham Theatre Workshop to receive her BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts. As a part of a stage production called Wait Until Dark, she appeared as Gloria as a child at age eight. In 1997 the year she first appeared on television in a 'Coronation Street episode'. Then, in 2000, she returned to the show to portray Karen McDonald. Following her departure from the ITV soap, she was cast in a number of TV series like 'Vincent "Strictly Confidential" as well as "Harley Street". On the big screen she's been in movies like "Love and a Longshot", 'Broken hearts' as well as 'A Christmas Star'.
